HNF Media makes a Cameo!

Wow. I’ve been gone for a while. The last post that was published was back in April.

YAY! He’s back!

Well not really.

I suppose it was around the end of March that I got sick of making videos. It was a waste of time. My comedic videos weren’t taking off, and I had just finished my Wii Fit series. Although my video game videos were more popular, they weren’t off the charts, so I gave up.

Later note: Since August, I have received emails from Youtube saying a couple of my Mario & Sonic Olympic videos were eligible for partnership. Of course this wouldn’t happen, since they contain copyrighted material.

Regardless of that, many people have asked for us to do the Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics. I’ve had to convey this to each person:
There is no more “we”. My ‘partner’ (the H in HNF) has gone off to college. She won’t be returning. The series was planned, but never went through.

I was planning to start a Pokémon HeartGold walkthrough after Mr. Tai ended, but my life was busy and I didn’t feel like editing through hours of video. (I did record my journey all the way through Mahogany though).

The idea of video game walkthroughs didn’t appeal to me anymore. I was more interested in making video games.

At this point, I already had my beta invitation to Stencyl a free game making tool. It’s revolutionary, and I’ve played a key role in its development.

At this point, “HandNF” is dead, and the idea of HNF Media; a brother and sister team, has fallen into disillusion.

Where will this go now? I don’t know, but I feel like an explanation was in order. If you’re that kind of person that likes staying in the loop, then follow @HandNF. The twitter account was made a while ago, so the name is old.

At some point, I’ll reinvent this blog. I’ll keep it for its legacy of videos. Yet it probably won’t be used often, if at all. Subscribing using RSS or Atom will allow you to see new stuff while not having to check every other day.

Rudolph’s Check Up

Santa was taking Rudolph for a check-up at the doctors. So Santa says, “I want Rudolph to go in to a check up and get his red light removed”. The doctor takes in Rudolph, checks his reflexes, his heartbeat, and basic check-up things. Then the doctor performs the surgery and gets the light removed.

After that, Frisky the cat sniffs Rudolph over as the doctor gives Santa a bill. Santa looks at the bill and says, “Well $300, that’s a lot of money. Why was it so expensive?”

The doctor says, “It was 50 for the check-up, 100 for the surgery, and 150 for the cat scan.”

What is Easter?

A friend was visiting the teacher of a CCD class, so the teacher planned to show the friend just how much the students learned in such little time. The teacher asked the class, “What is Easter?”

Jon raised his hand, “Oooh, oooh, pick me.”

The teacher called on Jon and he said, “Its when we give thanks to God and we sit down with our family and eat a big meal in November.”

The teacher got upset that Jon didn’t know.

Then Michael raised his hand and said, “Ooh, ooh, pick me.”

The teacher called on Michael and he said, “Its about Jesus.”

The teacher breathed a sigh of relief.

Michael went on, “Its in December when Jesus was born and Santa Claus gives us presents.”

The teacher was now worried that her friend wouldn’t see what the kids had learned.

Mary raised her hand and said, “Ooh, ooh, pick me.”

The teacher, very worried, called on Mary.

Mary began, “Its about Jesus when he suffered and died on the cross.”

The teacher began to feel hopeful.

Mary went on, “Then 3 days later he rose from the dead.”

The teacher was excited.

Then Mary finished, “And if he turned around and saw his shadow there are six more weeks of winter.”

This is honestly what I do in my free time

1. Janitors wearing berets are taking down the French flag. This is because I did it in French class.
2. I drew a road that circled around the flagpole.
3. A delivery truck has pulled up to the side.
4. A delivery person has boxes of Wick Donna’s fast food. This will be next weeks lunch.
5. As you can tell, the children are excited by this.
6. The school sign reflects this.
7. Graduating seniors give their ‘dueces’ to the younger students.
8. A squirrel launches an attack at the senior.
9. Another senior, who is unclothed, tries to knock the squirrel out of the tree.
10. This senior will be assaulted by a squirrel. This act is being watched.
11. One of the squirrels has taken a senior prisoner.
12. There is a puddle with a whale hiding inside of it. How he got there, I’ll never know.
13. A giraffe is also surprised by the whale.
14. A tennis player accidentally lobs the ball out of the tennis courts.
15. A hungry caterpillar tries to eat a plant.

Two Years; So what?

This past weekend was the anniversary of the day Heather, my older sister, and I created our Youtube account. Some of the first videos we posted were the popular (relevant to other videos) Mario and Sonic Olympics. About a week after creating our channel, we posted our first comedy. Chocoholics Anonymous was, to me, a major part of my video career. I did all of the editing myself, with a small amount of help from my dad.

A year ago, I posted this, our year anniversary video which was a medley of our comedy and computer game videos.

However, over the past year, the comedies we did have diminished. Heather is too busy to care about my videos anymore. I personally have drifted away from comedies because it just isn’t fun to do those anymore, alone. I’ve tried to recruit people, but regardless, the soonest I can do it is this summer.

Instead, I’ve done gaming videos. Until today, I’ve posted videos from the game “Wii Fit Plus” on the Nintendo Wii. Mr. Chi and Mr. Tai are two fictional characters representing the worst and best at the game. What video series should I do next? HeartGold is on the plan. However, I’ve been too busy to post any video. I haven’t even edited videos yet.

There is another problem, views. The most popular videos on Youtube gets millions of views the day it is posted. I’ve been posting on youtube for two years now and many of my videos fail to break 100 views total. I’m considering what the point of everything is.

True, I’ve been on youtube for 2 years now, but what do I have to show for it?
