I’ve got a couple ideas of things I could post. Nothing big, just video game stuff. Stay tuned.

Two Years; So what?

March 28, 2010 1 comment

This past weekend was the anniversary of the day Heather, my older sister, and I created our Youtube account. Some of the first videos we posted were the popular (relevant to other videos) Mario and Sonic Olympics. About a week after creating our channel, we posted our first comedy. Chocoholics Anonymous was, to me, a major part of my video career. I did all of the editing myself, with a small amount of help from my dad.

A year ago, I posted this, our year anniversary video which was a medley of our comedy and computer game videos.

However, over the past year, the comedies we did have diminished. Heather is too busy to care about my videos anymore. I personally have drifted away from comedies because it just isn’t fun to do those anymore, alone. I’ve tried to recruit people, but regardless, the soonest I can do it is this summer.

Instead, I’ve done gaming videos. Until today, I’ve posted videos from the game “Wii Fit Plus” on the Nintendo Wii. Mr. Chi and Mr. Tai are two fictional characters representing the worst and best at the game. Today I posted the series finale for that,

What video series should I do next? HeartGold is on the plan. However, I’ve been too busy to post any video. I haven’t even edited videos yet.

There is another problem, views. The most popular videos on Youtube gets millions of views the day it is posted. I’ve been posting on youtube for two years now and many of my videos fail to break 100 views total. I’m considering what the point of everything is.

True, I’ve been on youtube for 2 years now, but what do I have to show for it?

Spring 2010 HNF Media Keynote

March 14, 2010 1 comment

First off, I have to say I’m more than quite upset. Here I am, blogging about all these cool features that I personally will have up on the website. I’m using my new, great video camera with great editing software on a super-fast computer.

That’s the thing. I see these people around me. They’re great actors, but they aren’t involved with my youtube videos. I have great resources, but no actors. I just feel like I need to advertise more, get my name out.

I’ve yet to find my niche, something I’m really good at. Until that time, I’m not much of anything. I’m only a person who has too much free time and not enough friends.

Anyway, click the more button to check out what’s in store for the next 6 months…

Spring 2010 Keynote Notice

February 27, 2010 Leave a comment

Soon, I will be publishing a keynote. Perhaps in a video, perhaps just a post. It will line up my goals for the Spring and Summer in terms of videos. I plan one series, but at the end I’ll allow everyone to decide on what videos I’ll make. This keynote ties in very importantly to our two polls:

Computer Troubles

January 26, 2010 6 comments

About a few weeks ago, the computer I use refused to boot, instead producing six beeps at start-up. A look at the manual for the xw4100 indicated either a bad video card or motherboard. So my dad and I diagnosed the problem. We were pretty sure the motherboard was the source after that was the only thing plugged in. We were about to purchase a new computer when we found out a problem; we actually need a video card inserted. Looking back to our archive of computer parts, we pulled out an older video card and that worked fine.

The New HNF Media

December 30, 2009 Leave a comment

Many of you may’ve noticed that our old site stopped updating. That is because it has been dead. I’ve been busy with school lately and no longer have the time for updating a bunch of static html pages. So I was trying to go into learning PHP and MySQL to create a more interactive website. However, this seemed like it would be a lot of work, so I thought about creating a wordpress.
